"Miles for
Muscles" is partnering with "Stone
Circle of Friends" to raise awareness and provide research
funding for Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy (MMD) through our cycling team.
Mike Hamlin, a one
time avid cyclist with Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy,
is inspiring folks to join him on this 100 mile ride. Mike is no longer
able to ride a bike, so he is riding a recumbent trike instead. Join
Mike on this
adventure. Together we can cross the finish line for a cure.

Miles for Muscles Takes Place as Part of the Sea Gull
Century Ride
As noted on the
ride registration form, the Miles for Muscles ride will take place on
October 9, 2010 and will be part of the annual Sea Gull Century ride.
The Sea Gull Century begins at Salisbury State University, making a
loop to Assateague Island, MD and then returning to Salisbury.
The ride is beautiful and there are pits stops as well as stores for
when you need something to eat and drink. Many riders eat lunch
at Assateague Island, although there are other options.
